If you have decided to fly to our Tuscan agritourism resorts, Ituscan recommends landing in Florence or Pisa, which are quite close to us. Alternatively, you can land in one of the airports in Rome, which have excellent connections with all the main national and international airports.
Tuscany has two international airports, Galileo Galilei in Pisa and Amerigo Vespucci (also known as Peretola) in Florence. The Pisa airport is much larger and better served than the one in Florence, but both have flights to and from the main European cities. Most European airlines fly into Pisa, so reaching our agritourism resorts may be easier if you land there.
The airport of Rome-Fiumicino, the largest airport in Italy (official name: Leonardo da Vinci International Airport) is in the town of Fiumicino, 28 km from the centre of the Rome. The other airport in Rome is Ciampino. Over 40 million passengers a year land and depart from these airports in Rome (2010 data).
